Grade 8 Reading Lesson 22 Poetry – “Mike Teavee”

TV is a chewing gum to my eyes. No matter how hard I try to control, once I start watching the TV, there’s no end. I know I have better things to do, but I just can’t seem to help it. Therefore, I quite agree with what Roald Dahl says about the TV in this poem, ‘Mike Teavee…’.
